Mark focuses his practice on representing clients before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and counseling inventors and businesses on various intellectual property strategies.  Mark is a registered patent attorney and admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.  Mark also focuses his practice on licensing his client’s intellectual property, and has worked a great deal with international clients.

Mr. Malek received a Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Dayton in 1997, a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Orlando in 1999, and a Juris Doctorate degree from Barry University School of Law in 2002.  Mark is a member of the Florida Bar (2002), and is admitted to practice in the United States Patent and Trademark Office (2000), the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida (2002), the United States Court of Appeals, Federal Circuit (2004) the District of Columbia Bar (2005) and the United States Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit (2005).

Mark currently serves on the executive committee of the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of East Florida and was past chairman of the Board of Directors.  Mark is involved with the Florida Bar Justice Teaching program, and is a parishioner at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.  Mark is married to his wife Aileen and they have two young sons.
